I'm trying to eat more plant-based and cut meat out of my diet. I could eat these every day and never miss meat sausages.
Love the smell. I cook it down in a small amount of water, then use some spray butter to actually fry it till crispy brown. The spices in these links make you think they are maple honey pork sausage. Much less fat, sodium, but there some chemicals to keep fresh so they are not without preservatives. But a great healthy exchange of what’s on the market for meat eaters. I eat with eggs, pancakes, grits or just roll up in a piece of whole wheat bread!
There are very few options available where I live, but found vegan essentials and am in love! This sausage, in particular, is phenomenal. My husband and I had it this evening for the first time and it SLAPS! Highly recommended. Ordering more now.
I would willingly eat these every day! They are everything I loved about meat sausages, but without the gross surprise bones and connective tissues of dead animals. So far everyone I know who has tried them freakin' LOVES them. Except one person who says he never liked those kind of sausages anyway. Best of all, they hold together perfectly if you cook them up and then throw them into a dish of something like a baked pasta casserole with tomato sauce and vegetables.
I'm a meat lover and I approve of these brats! Great flavor and texture. If I hadn't known they were vegan, I would have assumed they were made from very lean meat. I'll be buying these again for sure.
