My friend brought the black garlic-truffle, dill, and mustard seed smoked gouda to our friends-giving and they were delicious! The dill was my least favorite and it was still pretty great! I ate spread them on seeded crackers, carrots, and cauliflower. I wouldn‚Äôt buy a block just for myself but I plan to order them for any future get togethers so we can ‚Äúruin‚Äù our appetites again and again.
Kind of a dense, spongy texture, reminds me a lot of tofu (probably because the main ingredient is soybean). Not great to snack on alone, probably very good on a sandwich. I added some to a pasta bake, and it melted and incorporated really well.
