For that reason, separate Calcium supplementation is always recommended during pregnancy, especially if the daily dietary intake is lacking

These got me through my pregnancy with ease. Very good on the stomach.
The daily recommended value for vitamin D for women 19-50 is 200IU. I am worried about the risks of vitamin D toxicity to my baby. Unfortunately, comparable supplements I've seen seem to have more than the recommended about of vitamin A, which is linked to birth defects in amounts over 10,000IU/day. This prenatal multivite doesn't have as much vitamin A which I like, although it's low in calcium so you'd have to get it through your diet. I'm also not sure why I'd need 1666% of vitamin B12. A good multivite is hard to come by.
This is the only multivitamin I've ever taken that hasn't made me nauseous, including while I'm pregnant. On top of that, I've compared it to leading prescription prenatals and I find it far superior. I especially love all the extra B vitamins.
Good product, especially considering it's difficult to find a multivitamin that does not contain D3 from sheep.
