Not only is it not coconutty, it's not slimy or oily and is just plain freaking nice. It's like any traditional tallow glycerin soap but without the tallow and it's cruelty free and vegan. I love it.
Great vegan soap, wonderful price.
This soap is very good on the skin and lasts for good amount of time. Also the price is reasonable. Love it.
I got the soap a few days ago. It smells really nice but when I get out of the shower I feel "Zestfully" clean, meaning that my skin is very sticky and tacky. I was always told by my vegan friends it was because the soap was removing moisture from my skin. So I have been using "Dove" type soaps. I will keep using this until I find something I like better that is Planet/Person/Pet friendly.
this is probably the best vegan soap i've ever tried (and i've tried quite a few over the decades) - dirt cheap, very mild, rich lather, no residue at all, and no fragrance (does have a coconutty smell, which is pleasant but doesn't linger at all). but the best part is how perfect it is for problem skin. i have extremely sensitive skin, and every soap on earth makes me break out (most vegan soaps actually irritate my skin more) - but after a week or so of using this stuff, my skin cleared up almost completely. so it's worth the paltry price. buy a bar and get clean.
