    THE WINE

Caladoc (a french crossing between Malbec and Grenache) perfectly displays Southern France's depth of flavor and complexity. This wine takes after the Malbec parent more than Grenache, showing intense blue and black fruits with touches of earth and spice.

100% Caladoc grown in Coursan (Aude Department)
Soil is mostly rolled pebbles with clay and limestone subsoil
Night harvest and temperature-controlled fermentation with long maceration
Light filtration after aging in 4-year-old barrels for 11 months.

    Color: Garnet
    Service Temp: Cool Cellar

This wine takes after the Malbec parent more than Grenache, showing intense blue and black fruits with touches of earth and spice.  Since 1999, Lionel Boutié has cultivated his vines with organic farming methods. Cheerful and always curious, he likes to keep in mind that, if at the beginning, his commitment to organic farming was, above all, a risk, today he measures all the benefits of agriculture that respect nature.

    THE WINERY

Domaine Ricardelle de Lautrec is situated just outside the village of Coursan at the crossroads of three major wine regions; the Clape, the Minervois and Corbières. The Via Domitia canal, built by the Romans, runs the whole length of the 40-hectare vineyard.
