Enjoy this classic Mexican treat that’s gone vegan-friendly! These delicious taquitos are hand-rolled in white corn tortillas, blended with premium soy "beef" and then seasoned with authentic Mexican spices. Cut them up and serve at parties, share them as an appetizer before your next dinner feast, or microwave a few for a fun snack to nibble on between meals. They're gluten-free, too! Each 14 oz. (397g) box contains 8 vegan taquitos. $9.29 per package.
Ingredients: Corn tortilla (white corn, water, lime), water, texturized soy flour, onion, mushroom, soy flour, rice starch, yeast extract, evaporated cane juice, salt, chili, cumin, thyme, natural vegan spices, garlic powder, carrageenan, expeller pressed canola, soybean or sunflower oil

These taquitos are yummy and a good snack, but they're a little bland. Of course, you could add hot sauce or salsa, but compared with the chicken version I like these less. They're still worth checking out but not a must-try, in my opinion.
Wonderful flavor! You can let the tortillaa get as crisp, or not, as you prefer it. Vooking times are not specified - we found the cooking time can be varied so you can experiment for the result you prefer"one of us liked the taquito less well toasted with the filling more moist, the other liked it toasted darker, with the tortilla dark and crisp. Our microwave burned out recently, so we used the conventional oven. These are microwaveable so you can do your own taste test with this! A terrific appetizer, of course, however, we made a meal of them: we had a meal of two taquitos each which went marvelously with steamed broccoli and a spritz of lemon and sliced tomato with a drizzle of olive oil-red wine vinegar-cracked black pepper-mustard powder-lemon juice dressing. We wished we had ordered additional Starlite Cuisine creations!
