I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS STUFF! I have gone years without dairy and this is a major game changer. Don't listen the the negative reviews, this is the real deal ya'll!
Actually love this stuff, I am a big sour cream lover but am trying to cut dairy out of my diet. This stuff is great! Just had it on my tacos!! The texture is similar to Greek yogurt.
I bought Tofutti sour cream substitute for a friend with a milk allergy. I first used it to make beef stroganoff and then later in the week I used it in beef and bean burritos. It was fabulous! It gives hot dishes that creamy consistency I was looking for without the dairy. I'd use it in place of sour cream any day!
Great in onion dip or vegan recipes that require a creamy sauce. Add lemon juice to taste to get that "sour" quality to the "cream."
