The bright orange color with copper highlights reveals the complexity in each glass! The nose is marked by ripe strawberry, rhubarb, pink grapefruit, and blood orange. On the palate, the wine opens with aromas of red fruits and citrus. A lovely, well-balanced Rosé Champagne with notes of dried strawberry and herbs on the finish.
4 generations of Legret family winegrowers have worked to spread the passion for Champagne.
-In 1965, the 3rd generation, Jean-Pierre and Jacqueline Legret created the “Champagne Jean-Pierre Legret” winery and brand.
-In 1986, after studying viticulture and oenology, Alain Legret joined the family estate, at the age of 20.
-In 2000, they extended the cellars and installed a wine-press to become independent winegrowers.
-In 2006, Jean-Pierre and Jacqueline got retired and Alain started leading the estate with his wife Sandrine.
After 10 years of learning new skills, Alain converted to sustainable, planet-friendly viticulture.
To continue the momentum of Champagne Jean-Pierre Legret, Alain and Sandrine created the brand “Champagne Legret & Fils”, to refer to the new generation of Legret embodied by their sons Raphael and Samuel.
The Legret family is special in so many ways. Here are just a few...
1- Respect for the Terroir
2- Respect for the biodiversity and the ecosystem
3- Respect for human beings
Most importantly, it is for you that Champagne Legret & Fils works on offering fine champagnes to reveal the treasure of our terroir.
