This vegan corned beef is outstanding! Even my carnivore husband admitted he couldn't tell the difference between this & animal-based corned beef. Will definitely buy again!
Hey Gina, thanks for leaving a review. We are happy to read that you like the Corned Beef. Enjoy it! :) Best, Christina
Of course you can love your cruelty-free Ruben sandwich on rye with organic sauerkraut, cruelty-free Russian dressing and melted cruelty-free cheese, HOWEVER, we had a fabulous dinner of slices corned beef -- which we had roasted in tin foil in a roasting pan in a 350-degree oven until the outside was darkened and slightly crisp and the inside moist and tender -- with roasted rosemary red potatoes and steamed crisp sugar snap peas tossed with ground assorted pappers and a squeeze of an organic lemon. On the side, organic grape tomatoes. No, we do not usually dine this grandly and we will now proceed to throw this wonderful corned beef into sandwiches, but we wanted to indulge in one "proper" dinner! You could also steam cabbage and add carraway seeds and boil your potatoes! Feed Your Head proves that plant-based is the real deal: this is food you can cherish: hearty, satisfying, delicious. Cruelty-free food is the new FOOD. Full stop. Kudos to Feed Your Head. This is marvelous!!! Never stop!
I really enjoyed my order of corned beef. I am a new vegetarian and I pleasantly surprised how easy it has been. When you have products like this available, it makes it easy to make the switch over to the veg diet. The Reubens I made with this product tasted amazing!
This vegan corned beef comes as close to the flavor and texture as actual corned beef as I ever could imagine! I have been a carnivore for most of my life and never thought that a vegan product could be so delicious.. Try it in a Reubin Sandwich.. YUM!!!!!
It's been a very long time since I've had nonvegan corned beef (15+ years), and I was never a huge fan of it anyway, but this became available right as I was looking at recipes for creating my own vegan corned beef. From what I recall, the flavours are pretty spot on, and the texture is also similar. Makes for great sandwiches thinly sliced, topped with some cabbage slaw.
