My husband & I absolutely ADORE this Celebration Roast. (It's always our main course for Thanksgiving). I can't wait to have it again on New Year's Eve this year! Tip for those new to the product: my husband (who eats vegetarian products but who is not a true vegetarian) bastes it with olive oil, basil, and rosemary and, more importantly, cooks it in veggie broth. I only mention this because someone (in their review) said that the roast can be dry. If you cook it in a small amount of vegetable broth, I promise you that it will come out super moist (and delicious)! This "roast" never disappoints (at least not at our house)!
After looking for a while for the celebration roast, I was only ever able to find the Sage & Garlic roast for Thanksgiving. I decided to give it a try, and I was not disappointed. I will say, for anyone who has not tried this, I really recommend using Gravy on top of it, as ours did come out a bit dry by itself. We followed the instructions to baste the turkey with a little veggie broth, but I'm not sure that that alone helped with the moisture or not. I did add a bit of Tofurky Gravy, and it paired amazingly well with this. The flavors mixed together well, and it made the turkey texture 100% better. Overall, this turkey takes a 4/5 stars from me, but I'm so excited that I found something like this. If this was the only turkey alternative out there, I would be perfectly happy with that, but I'm also excited for next year to try different turkeys.
