The next step adds some rich red wine, and finally, they mix in the seasonings that include fennel seed, fresh garlic and voilà: an artisan plant-based sausage with sizzle, texture and personality!

I have tried several vegan Italian sausages and this is the one! The casing is easy to remove and they cook up fast in a pan on the stove. I topped mine with grilled onions and mushrooms and a little marinara in a hot dog bun. Fantastic!!

I love using these in Italian dished sliced up on a slant they look, taste and feel spot on and add to any Italian dish and also great on a garlic bun with vegan mozzarella and marinara sauce.
