I love my regular cheese and because of a serious diet change (wake up call) I need to adhere to the SOS nutrition philosophy. It's not too bad for a cheese substitute but I found if you mix it in with Egg Beaters(egg substitute) it blends with it so well that the final dish taste like real normal eggs. Quite surprising.
This is rich, creamy and smokey. It was great both cold on crackers and hot in a grilled cheese. I am also thinking it would be perfect for a fondue with pears and apples for dipping :)
I swore off vegan cheese for a while because the ones that didn’t suck were just “meh” and Didnt really add anything. I really wanted a cheese for my “meatball” subs I was making and bought this one a whim. This was the first cheese that melts like dairy cheese, and tastes pretty much identical to the dairy version.
