The neat egg works well, but the ratios on the packaging are off. It says 1 tbsp Neat egg + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg. The label also states that the 4.5oz package is the equivalent of 18 eggs. If you do the math that amount would only equate to 9 neat eggs. I think the ratio is supposed to read 1/2 tbsp neat egg 2 tbsp water = 1 egg. That would reach the 18 egg count. Also, it diminishes the chia-overload flavor that some mentioned was undesirable. I also made sure to bake with extra spices to help the flavor.
I’ve finally found the best egg substitute to use to bake and cook with for my wife’s diet. !! Great product. Thank you!!
I used this in the three ingredient peanut butter cookie recipe that everybody's been making. One cup of peanut butter, one cup of sugar, and a Neat Egg. The cookies turned out very well and it's impossible to tell that I didn't use a hen egg. Great product!
Works much better than any flax "eggs" I've made, but be prepared to add a little more liquid to the recipes you use it in.
I’m an avid baker and entertain a lot. This is by far the best egg replacement product I’ve ever used! I wowed holiday guests with vegan pies and cakes that were moist and delicious. Great product!
