Sal Suds is an effective soap to clean one's clothes. It works well in removing perspiration odors, especially on athletic clothing like microbial shirts, pants, etc. Go cruelty free!
I'm accustom to using fragrance-free laundry detergents and this stuff gets my laundry whiter, brighter and cleaner than any other detergent I've used. It is an amazing stain-lifter that has even lifted set-in stains that typical stain removing sprays couldn't get out. A wonderful bathtub cleaner as well. I feel better cleaning my tub with this rather than bathing my daughter in a tub with bleach/chemical residues. That being said, I wouldn't recommend for dishes personally, unless you wear gloves because SLS is a skin irritant.
I use a few drops of this with a stiff birdbath brush to clean my concrete birdbath. It removes the algae and black gunk like nothing else I've used. And I know it won't hurt the birds if I rinse very well. It's great on floors too.
