I had this in the freezer for nearly a year, waiting for a special occasion and finally baked it last night. It was so soft and creamy inside and the crust was flakey and yummy. I enjoyed it with fruit and water crackers.
This brie en croute was a wonderful appetizer. The crust was flaky, and the brie was savory with a slight nuttiness. It was amazing when paired with a tart jam. My whole family enjoyed it. It was filling too.
I had this sitting in the freeze for over a year, well today i finally decided to give it a try and after over a year in the freezer it was delicious. It doesn’t taste 100% like the Brie i remember when i used to eat dairy, but i was happy happy happy, love the texture of the cheese and the crust was delightful. Will definitely be buying agin now for the holidays and sharing with everyone i know.
I used to live in GR where these were based and would scour our local grocery stores to find whenever these were in stock. They are so good, and now that I've moved from the area, I'm super happy these are available to order on this site. The 'cheese' part is a little sweeter than some other vegan cheeses I've had. The crust is really flaky and tasty and I heard the company is now going to do a GF version. It pairs really well with jams - I personally like raspberry or jalapeno.
