We were looking to find a good substitute for another product that changed their recipe. It was nice to find a product that had a good flavor, and made good sandwiches. The Mediterranean one was my least favorite, but the plain and herb ones were good.
Hey Tomi, I'm happy that you found your new Tuna meal, which you like! Best regards, Christina
this is my favorite flavor of the three they make. i always have this on hand for cravings or a quick sandwich. there are some big chunks and i prefer a more fine/mashed tuna, so i empty it onto a plate and chop chop chop with a sharp knife. i add sweet onions, sweet relish and vegan mayo......YUM! i just made myself hungry....gonna have some for lunch in a little while!
This is tastier than the water or the spicy flavor this company makes. This smells like tuna and tastes exactly like the tuna and olive oil my mother used to make tuna salad out of. She used broccoli and red pepper if I remember right, and I guess the same herbs this company uses. The texture is exactly as I remember real tuna being, though the chunks are sometimes a bit bigger and harder to break down than I'd like. I kinda wish the company would give more nutritional value, or at least larger portions. Kinda sucks to open ONE package per personal serving. This stuff keeps selling out in stores, though most don't even carry it yet. This is by FAR the best tuna I've tried. Only Sophie's canned tuna comes close, though I like that for other reasons. This would be very handy for traveling without a can opener!
