Important Shipping Information: Viana's meat alternatives are shelf-stable and do not need a cold shipper to be sent to you at this time. Viana brand items are sold in many locations in Europe as shelf-stable products without any refrigeration - the packaging notes "Keep refrigerated" for sale in the USA so that retailers will display Viana items alongside competing meat alternatives which are found in the refrigerated section at most stores, but this does not mean that their items require refrigeration until after being opened. Once opened, you will need to refrigerate any unused portions for up to 7 days to keep your Viana items fresh.
This allows you to save money on not needing a cold shipper with their products, unless you happen to be ordering other items which do require refrigeration (where a cold shipper will automatically add to your order). Please email us at email@example.com if you have any questions regarding shipping Viana brand items!
Tasty chicken that's very versatile in cooking. üòä Toss them in a pan, add orange sauce and boom! Orange chicken. üòãü•¢ My only complaint is that I wish these were a little more tender. Perhaps marinating them in a broth would accomplish this.
In Greece I can find these on a health food store for really cheap, since they come from Germany. I like them because they are easy and quick to make in any way you want and though they are very hearty they don't taste 'too meaty'.
These look kind of gross in the package, and when you pick them up you say to yourself "hmmm....I'm sure this will be nasty". But wait! They are fantastic! I pan fried mine, and they were amazing...they were crunchy on the outside and...dare I say it...tasted like chicken....or at least how I remember chicken tasting.
